WOZA
Greetings to you, wherever you are in this big beautiful oh so challenged world. I trust you are well.
Me? I’m letting myself be weird.
I even did a TikTok video in the pool this morning. In one of my oldest saggiest swimsuits.
(Just so you know I’m serious about this weird thing.)
Because honestly? What else can I do in these times?
And I’m inviting you to join me. Not in the pool, but in letting yourself be weird. Wild. Whoever you’ve been hiding from the world all your life. The real you, not the socially acceptable one.
Woza means, in isiZulu, “come on” – so it’s a way of inviting you, or calling you into this world that seems to be creating itself. I’m not an astrologer but from what I understand, things are happening in the universe that haven’t happened in hundreds and thousands of years – and it sure feels like it, doesn’t it?
Here’s what I know about these times, and the ones to come. We all, those of us who believe in the light/love side of things vs. staying hidden in the dark where things rot, will need to bring ourselves fully to the collective. More importantly, we need to get to know our true selves, the soul underneath the carefully constructed socially acceptable persona we have created throughout our lives. The expected, the ordinary, the well-behaved thing? It’s not going to cut it going forward.
It's time, that much is clear. The comfort zone, for most, has been crumbling and will disappear soon, if it hasn’t already. Which is scary.
Of course it is.
In times like these, though, as frightening as it can be, the less painful thing is to adapt. To change. And that includes me. So I’m going to come out of my lovely South African hidey hole and offer my first group circle in years. While I’ve been working with individuals one on one for eons now, this whole process of attuning to your soul is so needed I want to make it more accessible. And anything is better in good company, right?
More on that in the next couple weeks – the magic will begin in late April. For now, I’ll be channelling more on social media – it’s time for that, too. And I have limited openings for 1:1 sessions, if you just can’t wait to get started!
Wherever you are, I hope you’ll take time to listen to the voice within you and to pay attention to your dreams, to explore whatever comes up. As dark as things seem right now, making time to take good care of you seems wise, doesn’t it?
Woza. It’s time.
